What a fun, informational book. I recommend this to any age...

The cover says that this book is challenging. I disagree. There are too many questions regarding names and dates, and not enough questions that get you thinking about what a text might be saying, or where it may be found.

This isn't bad, but it isn't "great" either. Mr. Shoup did put a lot of time and effort into this however as I worked my way through it I found that many of his questions were based on assumptions, highly opinionated, misleading, ambiguous, and at times, quiet bias. I found the majority of his questions to be disparaging in that he picked a lot of the negative aspects of the Bible as opposed to a balance with the positive aspects as well. It was as though he was using this forum to purposefully put the "spot light"on the ugliness of sin, thus leaving a constant negative feeling. Some of the questions were misleading and beg for interpretation, which he assumed he has the answers to. The back cover mentions appropriate for "All ages", hardly! I would not go through this with my child especially with so much of the negative aspects. The Word of God is very precious, and one ought not to "tangle" with it inappropriately.

It is just what I thought it would be. I like how it is done by each of the books of the BIble. Very well done.
