This planner for teens is already proving useful for our teenage son. With a combination of homeschool and outside classes, it is important for him to have his own planner to keep track of assignments.

When we first unwrapped this planner from the packaging, there was a strong chemical smell to it. However, I am happy to report that after being out of the packaging for a couple of months, there is no odor at all.

This planner contains a full month calendar view, weekly scheduling pages, and other pages to record special dates to remember and goals for the year. The section of the planner that is the most useful to my son is defnitely the weekly scheduling pages, with the boxes to check off the assignments as they are completed. These pages also contain a quote or Bible verse on each two page spread. When I ordered this planner, I thought that there would be a devotional guide on the pages to encourage the students, however, it is just the quote or verse.

I would recommend this planner for students. As a homeschool mom of multiple children, this would not provide enough assignment planning space for me. However for use by an individual student to keep track of assignments, I believe it provides the space needed.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Even as a kid, the one exciting thing about school (maybe the only thing) was getting new school supplies! My backpack and folder lasted for years, so those were reused, but new pens, pencils, erasers, papers and an academic calendar were part of my shopping list. Am I a nerd for saying I loved it? I'm just one of those that grew up loving to shop for school supplies. That's not to say that I loved going to school. It was just the idea of getting new things to organize in a backpack and folder. This planner is hardcover, so it should last the entire academic year even with a beating in backpacks. The front page offers a year look from August 2019 July 2020, which helps give a snapshot of what holidays fall where. Contact pages follow along with a place for medical information. After that there are two pages for special notes for each month, two additional pages for monthly goals, a weekly schedule page and semester plan (Fall 2019 and Spring 2020). Each month offers a two page overview of the month followed with two pages for every week broken down into the days/dates of that week. The days have enough room for listing 7 "to do" items in a given day with a section at the bottom for any additional items to be done by the end of the week, as well as another area for the top 3 goals, notes and thoughts of gratitude. I love the look of this planner. I don't need flashy. I need functional. And this planner offers a lot of space for organizing appointments, classes, assignments and more. With the spots to focus on goals for the week or the month, it allows for me to have the big picture in mind, while breaking it down into smaller, more manageable tasks. This planner would be great for students in High School or College, as well as parents need to organize and help their kids in public or private school systems as well as homeschooling. By the way, they also have devotions and a journal available as well. I receive a complimentary copy from B&H. The honest opinions in this review are my own.

Y'all, I cannot believe that August is here and that school is starting. Where did this summer go?!?! In honor of today being the first day of school for most people, I have a review of an academic planner for you!

The Teen-to-Teen Academic Planner is a simple planner perfect for all teenagers. There are two cover design options - a gray with geometric designs and blue stripes with a floral design. I absolutely love the simplicity of the covers and that they created a design with guys in mind.

The planner includes many great features that will make keeping track of your assignments so much easier!

In the front, there are several pages including dates to remember, yearly goals, and semester schedules.

Each month includes a monthly layout as well as weekly layouts.

One of my favorite things about the weekly layouts are the checkboxes on each line. Additionally, each week includes a quote from another teenager. These quotes are meant to encourage and inspire you as you press on throughout the week.

Overall, I am extremely surprised at how much I love this planner. There are so many great features and the quality is much better than expected. The only thing I don't love is that it is not spiral-bound, but that is just me being picky. So, if you, or your teen, is looking for a planner for school, check this one out!

    * I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review.

I really like the design and layout of this planner. I wouldn't quite call it "lay-flat" pages as the description says since it's a bound hardcover book but it lays flat enough to use with ease. There wasn't a ton of extra content to make it stand out from other planners, but there was a short quote shared at the bottom of the left page for each week. I read many of them and found them to be not only encouraging but challenging for growth. If I'm being honest I'm not sure how many teens would use the top-three or gratitude lines but they're good to think about. I realize that when it comes to school Monday is the first day of the week, but I still have a hard time seeing a calendar with Sunday at the end. Maybe that's different for kids though. Overall it's a nice planner and is functional for it's purpose. As a hardcover I'm sure it'll be able to stand up to messy teens better than the flimsy ones the schools give out (at least in my area), although I know not all schools give them out at all. It's a nice and sturdy option for teens.

*I received a copy of this planner from B&H Publishers. Thoughts and opinions expressed are mine alone.

This academic calendar is perfect for my teen. My teen loves the ability it gives her to keep track of her daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. We are both excited about the calmness it is going to bring to her day and brain.
