HCB5 Stars Out Of 5Fun!March 30, 2017HCBQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I got this for my second grader after reading many reviews suggesting that it is a bit behind. She has done 14 lessons and absolutely loves it. She loves the graphics and thinks it is so fun. She has gotten A's on every lesson so far and loves to look at her grades in the gradebook. She isn't using the workbook; just the CD. A plain spiral notebook has been sufficient.

A friend recommended Teaching Textbooks to me and said that it was well worth the money. She couldn't have been more correct. The content is solid and flows well. There is enough review on previous lessons, but not too much that it's boring. I like that it keeps grades for me so I can check them at any time, and if necessary, I can delete any lesson where I identify a low grade or problem, and have my son redo the lesson while I help. It's interactive, so when my son answers a question or needs a hint, it's almost like they're right there with you explaining not only the answer, but also the rationale. When we had a problem with one of the discs loading, we contacted Teaching Textbooks and they replaced the faulty disc without hassle. We will certainly continue with Teaching Textbooks in the years to come.
