After 7 lessons with mistakes, some caught, and some not caught, we decided to try something else. For the cost of the set, we were surprised that mistakes were not edited out. We just needed more problems to work on with her help, but none of the homework is reviewed. This is a rigorous class and we just felt that for the cost, it was not that helpful. I must say that I will miss that nice teacher!
mom of 8Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5Not what I had hoped forSeptember 11, 2013mom of 8Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2The text book is the 3rd edition while the teacher is teaching from the 2nd edition.
The teacher covers a few problems and then sends the kids to do problems - many that have nothing to do with what she taught. We are really struggeling through this. I misunderstood that she would work all of the problems.
Hopefully things will get smoother, but as for right now I am not terribly impressed with the scope of the instruction.
