BusyMom4 Stars Out Of 5October 12, 2011BusyMomQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4This product makes learning Spanish fun for my kids. They beg to sing the songs and do the flashcards! I was not expecting it to not have everything I needed though. It has you get some other books in Spanish, so I ended up not having everything when I wanted to. The lesson plans are also a little haphazard... perhaps not geared for a homeschooler? I am still very glad that I bought this book!
Christine4 Stars Out Of 5March 11, 2009ChristineHere it is-- lesson plans, ready made worksheets, a variety of fun activities (not all of them are on paper) for a great introduction to Spanish. The book also lists extensive children's books in Spanish to use alongside lessons as well as songs to help gain Spanish vocabulary. I have used this book with my third grader, second grader & first grader all at once. They have gradiated levels up to fifth grade, each one only a little different from the one before: more vocabulary, not much grammatical structure. The only reason I didn't give this product five starts is because there is an assumption that the teacher knows Spanish. Perhaps that goes without saying, but I feel insecure about my own high school background in Spanish and would've benefitted from a pronunciation key. Still, the lessons are basic enough that anyone with a moderate understanding of the Spanish language should be able to use this with great success.
