Sheryl Deike5 Stars Out Of 5July 27, 2010Sheryl DeikeI was "required" to read this book for a leadership class I was taking to complete my master's degree. When I read it the first time, I didn't get it. It wasn't my favorite style of writing...it had a mystical, dreamy element BUT then I read it the 2nd time...my, oh my, what a great opening of my heart and eyes. Oh to be like David...and never throw back a spear! Anyway, I'm making my high school band read it during band camp. Buy it and give it away!!

Joseph Marchelewski, Pastor5 Stars Out Of 5September 25, 2009Joseph Marchelewski, PastorTale of Three Kings is an outstanding book that will make you look at not just others, but more importantly at yourself to analyze your faith and motivations. A great leadership took to get a deeper understanding of the calling of a leader, what type of leader you are as opposed to how you perceive yourself. I highly recommend this book to all who are called to ministry. It is an extremely easy read for someone who doesn't like to read.
Alan Babcock5 Stars Out Of 5August 12, 2009Alan BabcockI've had A Tale of Three Kings in my library for a long time. My recent purchase of five copies was for the other five pastors of our church. As Sr. Pastor, I think they need to understand David's heart regarding his relationship to God and why he's called a man after God's own heart. This book is for those who want to be fearless enough to risk letting God be in charge and who want to be mature enough to walk through the bad times and the good with steadfastness and love.
