Through a good dose of humor, balanced with some hard-earned insight, A Tale of Two Biddies encourages women to make the most of the latter seasons of their lives. This gift book tells the story of two aging women whose true nature becomes evident to those around them. One is kind and tender-hearted; the other critical and sharp-tongued. In light of aging, we are reminded to choose wisely while we're still young enough to have all of our mental faculties intact! This gift book takes a light-hearted look at topics such as menopause, feathering the empty nest, and "senior moments."

Aging is a gifta privilege best enjoyed with open arms and a grateful heart.
Meet Kitty and Mardel, also affectionately known as St. Katherine and the Dragon Lady. Through a good dose of humor and some hard-earned insight, A Tale of Two Biddies tells the entertaining story of the two women who inspired this book. One was kind, tender-hearted, and humble; the other was critical, pessimistic, self-centered, and sharp-tongued. As these women aged and their inhibitions fell away, the true character of their hearts became increasingly evident to those around them. For better and for worse.
In this book Vicki Kuyper explores the issues women face as they age and encourages them to make the most of the latter seasons of their lives. We cant control the aging process, but we can choose how well face each day, ultimately shaping our hearts and who we become.
We grow old in the blink of an eye. Growing up takes considerably longer. That means theres no better time than right now to reevaluate our habits, our faith, and our future. We can choose what draws us closer to God and closer to being the amazing women God created us to be. Thats life at its finest.
VICKI KUYPER is a full-fledged biddy and freelance writer. She has written over fifty books as well as countless greeting cards, magazine articles, book reviews, video scripts, and the occasional cow pun calendar. When not at her desk in Phoenix, Arizona, she is likely to be speaking at a womens retreat, hiking, traveling, conversing with a good friend over a decadent dessert, or at a Pilates class trying to work off the dessert she just ate.

The author kept me laughing as she describes how it feels to enter the "mature" season of life. Yet, she also challenged me to move ahead and make the best of these later years. It's a pretty quick read and very encouraging. I just bought several more copies to share with friends :)
