Readers Corner4 Stars Out Of 5TakenApril 24, 2015Readers CornerQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Kate gets a nice tour of Paris with Marcus. What could be the problem with that you say? Well, Kates sister has been shot, her niece has been taken, and Marcus is the FBI agent assigned to the case. Personally, I think it would be great to have a handsome FBI agent by your side to help you find your niece and to protect you. This is another well written story from Lisa Harris. You will enjoy it.

Paris!April 15, 2015TellNJasmineMontanaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I got hooked on Lisa Harris's suspense with her Southern Crimes series and I had no idea she also did Love Inspired Suspense, which I also enjoy, until I got the chance to read Taken. It was a wonderful, wild, ride of danger and mystery set in the City of Light.
Which reminds me, I didn't even know that Paris is called the City of Light, and I loved the little tidbits of history that sprinkle the pages of Taken.
I think one of my favorite things about the book is Kate's determination to rescue her niece no matter what the risk, no matter the sacrifice. She's scared half to death but family comes first. Will she find time in between dodging kidnappers to give love a chance?
Lisa Harris delivers a taut tale filled with danger, suspense, and romance that you won't want to miss!
(I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.)
momof25 Stars Out Of 5TakenFebruary 8, 2015momof2Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Once again Lisa Harris has provided her readers with an action packed novel with a touch of romance. I have read all of her books and I have never been disappointed. If you are looking for a weekend read, I would highly recommend Taken. This action-packed Love Inspired Suspense takes it's readers to Paris where Kate tries to track down the person responsible for shooting her sister and kidnapping her niece. What Kate didn't plan on finding was the danger that was lurking there. This page turning novel will keep you hanging on each page.
I was provided with an advance copy from the author in exchange for my honest review.
KavRCanadaGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful meshing of intrigue and romanceFebruary 5, 2015KavRCanadaGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Love Inspired Suspense is breaking out of the box and taking its readers to Paris! The exotic locale adds a whole new dimension to this page-turning suspense. Somehow, Harris manages to create that Parisian ambiance without taking away from either the suspense or romance. In fact, it only serves to enhance both. Loved every word of this fast-paced novel. Lurking danger, appalling circumstances and a protective FBI agent all conspire to send Kate's well-ordered life into a tailspin that leaves her (and subsequently the reader) breathless. A wonderful meshing of intrigue and romance.

Kate is the sister of the lady shot. There is an FBI detective Marcus on the case. Kate's sister was shot and the niece was kidnapped. There was diamond smuggling and suspected of exchanging them for military weapons. Kate's niece was abducted to Paris so Kate flew there. She was grabbed on the street and the FBI man shows up. If you like mysteries this book is for you. This story goes from Texas to Paris and back. Just when you think you have it figured out there is another twist to the story. I read this in one day I couldn't put it down. Loved it.
I received my copy from the Author, in exchange for my review. I have read one other book of hers and intend to buy a lot more.
