More than a cookbook, this is a great celebration of sharing food and fellowship with family and friends. Easy and quick recipes which provide physical and spiritual nourishment. Great book to give as a gift. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.

A book that is much more than a recipe book to me and beautiful enough to leave out on my coffee table! Stories from the real lives of the authors that encourage togetherness, gardening, canning, friendship, potlucks, recipes from the Amazon, inviting people around your table, and celebrating special occasions. The stories drew me in and the beautiful pictures enhanced the reading pleasure, making it a delight to read and to create meals from this book. It makes me want to fill my table with delicious food, family, and friends more often than I do.

I received an advance reader copy of this cookbook from the publisher, and here's my review. I've done several of the author's Bible studies, and she always includes recipes, playlist suggestions, etc. (i.e.: tools needed to curate a whole experience for your guests). So an entire cookbook of her recipes...yes, please! I love that in this book also includes canning and gardening, and the recipes make creative use of fresh, seasonal ingredients. So first up is roasted chicken with root vegetables, accompanied by simple salad (with the tastiest, easiest Dijon vinaigrette ever). Simple, yes; plain, I think not! Finish with old school peanut butter brownies, you can't go wrong. Delicious and highly recommended.

This cookbook is more than just recipes - though the recipes are amazing! My favorite is the Sun-Dried Tomato Bow Tie Pasta. The authors really focus on cooking as an expression of love, eating around the table, and fellowship with one another. The pictures and personal essays about gardening and communicating over delicious food really remind me why I love to cook and show hospitality. I highly recommend this cookbook!

A Place At The Table by Kelly Minter and Regina Pinto has renewed in me a Joy and Excitement for preparing, cooking and eating Together. I have tried several recipes; they all have been easy to prepare & incredibly tasty.

I love eating Local and Seasonal so this cookbook provided an authentic motivation to bring real food and conversion back to my table.

The authors provide such a wide medley of expertise and useful ideas including tips for canning and gardening, heartfelt stories, and a variety of delicious offerings. I have thoroughly enjoyed digging into this book.

The hardcover cookbook is beautiful, the pages are colorful and easy to read. It lays opens flat which is a big deal because many books (especially when new) I have to place a can/jar to keep my place.

It is a lovely gift idea too, especially now in autumn when everyone is preparing for gathering our family & friends around the holiday tables.
