Ms. Gi - Gi Grant, a Christian speaker and author of THIRTY-THREE PRAYERS and WRITINGS, is the third of eight siblings born in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lyles, Sr.She is a member of Liberty Christian Center, a church in Fairfield, California, there ministering to the youth and assisting with the Children's Praise Team.For several years, Ms. Grant had been ministering in music at the Green Field Care Center, a convalescent home in Fairfield, California.She retired in 2001, after teaching 23 years (grades second through sixth), at H. Glenn Richardson Elementary School in Fairfield, California.Six years additional teaching experience include Washington, D. C.; Yatesville, Georgia; Willliston, South Carolina, and Bronx, New York.Ms. Grant is a graduate of Benedict College, Columbia, South Carolina, where a B. A. degree was earned in Social Science and Sociology; a graduate of Rhema Bible Institute, with a Certificate of Achievement; attained a B. A. and M. A. degree from Trinity Biblical University in Fairfield, California.All accomplishments she attributes to the Lord for His goodness, mercy, and grace, include: Teacher of the Month, Who's Who in American Education, Who's who Among Human Service Professionals, and recipient of the Golden Apple Award, earned from the Daily Republic Newspaper in Fairfield, California.Ms. Grant resides in Fairfield, California.She has three daughters, several grandchildren as well as great grandchildren.
