Becky Kopitzke is a freelance writer, speaker, singer, dreamer, potty trainer, lunch packer, snowman builder and sidewalk chalk artist. She lives with her handsome husband and their two young daughters in northeast Wisconsin, where a pink indoor trampoline fills half the once formal living room.
Becky has been writing professionally since 2002. In 2011, she committed to use her writing skills for the Lord and launched a devotional blog, Time Out: Devotions for Moms (beckykopitzke.com) where she has published consistent weekly devotions for the past three years with a steadily growing audience of 5,200 unique visitors a month. She is a regular contributor to The M.O.M. Initiative, a collaboration of 27 writers and speakers led by author Stephanie Shott, which reaches thousands of moms per month through blogs and their first event in July 2014. In January 2014, Becky also launched a contributor lifestyle blog, Haven Help Us (havenhelpus.com), a place for "frazzled, flawed and fabulous" women to find encouragement for making their homes a haven both physically and spiritually, despite our inevitable imperfections. To date the blog has had up to 3,800 unique visitors per month. Beyond writing, Becky leads worship and womens Bible studies at her regional evangelical church and serves as an (in)courage community leader.
