5 Stars Out Of 5

At first I was sure (I thought) where this book was going and I wasn't all that thrilled- but then things took off and though the narrator is the hero of the book- his eccentric and lovable neighbor takes over, pounding people over the head in such a loving way that she is completely inoffensive- if that makes sense. She is the collector of suncatchers that cover her window and let in the same love and light and color that she shares with all around her. If there was ever a character I would like to meet from fiction- Eldeen would be that character- but then maybe I have met her in real life after all. Or maybe I need to be Eldeen myself.
