I have never read a book so fast! I was so interested in the next page it was like a was there. I have started reading with my granddaugher and she loves them but before reading these she did not enjoy reading at all. The lessons learned are really "gut" :) I can't wait to read more. I wish every young girl could have someone to read these with or alone. It takes you to a different place and time but oh how rewarding it is. And yes...I cried when Merry cried. Blessing to you from Grace and Annie in WV :) :)
I read Summerhill Secrets 1 and I plan on reading the second one. It was GREAT!!! I was hooked from the beginning. You should read this book if you`re 10+. It has a little bit of romance. It`s written as if you`re right there and it makes me feel like I`m Merry Hanson- the main character in this series. I absolutely LOOOOOVE this book!!!!!!!
I first read these books when I was 13 years old, while they were in their individual format. Short statement, I loved these books! Now being 17, I would recommend these books to anyone ages 12 through 15, or even older! I don't read them much anymore, but that's more because I'm into all her other books now as well as similar authors.. they are geared more towards the younger teens, as stated.
