Kelly P.5 Stars Out Of 5Loved Every ChapterMarch 5, 2020Kelly P.Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is a breath of fresh air. Jen Wilkin gives such a big seemingly overwhelming topic of studying the Bible some clarity and direction. Many people ask the question, "How do I start?" or "Where do I start?" when it comes to Bible study. This book is a great one to read if you are asking those questions. Chapter by chapter she helps calm your fears about where or how to start and gives you practical steps to begin your journey toward Biblical literacy. It is so encouraging! She brings her real life experiences, mess ups and successes from her own journey to help us along with ours. I loved this book. I have read it twice and have recommended it to so many. Even if you aren't asking how or where do I start studying the Bible, this book is still a great one to read.

DonnaFern5 Stars Out Of 5ExcellentSeptember 14, 2020DonnaFernQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I often feel like my Bible study is going nowhere, even though I spend quite a bit of time in the Word. I saw this book by Jen Wilkin and bought it right away - she's an incredible Bible teacher. I figured a book by her on how to more effectively study the Bible would be good and I was not disappointed. I went onto my public library site and found the audiobook and listened to her read it as I read along. Fabulous! I will refer back to this book over and over again.

Barbara5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent resourceJuly 19, 2020BarbaraI can't praise this book enough. I continually refer back to this book for my own study as well as use it for a reference in my ladies' Sunday School class. Jen Wilkin has figured out how to get us deeper into the word without writing over our heads. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to study the Bible in a meaningful way. I love the way she specifically addresses ways women typically approach the word. Though you could consider this a Bible study instruction for beginners, it is far from fluff. You will get a lot out of this book.
