Just about everyone you ask has an opinion about Jesus. Some believe he was the Son of God, while others question his existence altogether. Some believe he lived, but that he was merely a good man. Today, scientists and other people are making statements that can make it difficult to know what to believe. So how can you know who the real Jesus was (and is)especially when so many people are working to prove him to be a fake or a fraud? Thats what Lee Strobel wanted to know. As a former journalistand a former atheistLee went on an investigative journey to discover the real Jesus, one that took him across the continent and into the homes of todays most prominent experts on Christian history. He found all the evidence he needed to believe that the Jesus is indeed the Risen Savior. Join Lees investigation and discover the truth about Jesus for yourself. After youve seen all the evidence, youll know for certain who the real Jesus is, and youll be able to help others know him as well.

DorieAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent presentation of current challenges to Christianity for studentsAugust 11, 2014DorieAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The book is about 200 pages long. It's length is an asset to encourage more students to read it. However, don't let the length fool you. A lot of ground is covered in these pages. It is, to use the term, 'meaty.'
Students who read the book, will appreciate Strobel's respect and earnest desire to understand and know the truth. Also, the tone of the book is respectful to the reader. It is not 'dumbed down.'
Strobel uses a logical progression of thoughts and counterpoints. He isn't afraid to ask the hard questions that everyone is wondering. This will be appreciated by teens as well.
The challenges presented are current. Some of our current culture has presented a different view of Jesus than the Bible presents. Teens are bombarded with information about who He is and what He did on earth. This book can help clarify these different views and allow students to think through the current challenges logically and effectively.
Overall, it is a excellent presentation of the current challenges to Christianity for students.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review. The thoughts and opinions voiced in this review are my own.
