Pastor Ronald Hoak3 Stars Out Of 5Not what I expectedDecember 8, 2015Pastor Ronald HoakQuality: 3Value: 2Meets Expectations: 1The student Bible Dictionary is not what I expected. It doesn't specify the student in the ads, I teach adults and they need a good, thorough dictionary. As a test I thought I would look up some words that we had in our study, as I recall, (I gave the book away), I looked up Pharisees and Saducees so they would know the difference. The dictionary listed Phariseea as an entry, but there was no entry for Saducees, or the other way around. I would recommend this only for very young students. would give this book 3 stars only for younger readers. Definitely not for the average adult.

When searching for a simple Word Bible Dictionary, this one came up and looked to be what I needed...just simple Biblical words of people, places, and things and the correct pronunciation. I was reluctant to buy by the obviously title, but was reassured when the product information stated it was "Informative enough for adults", and "..for students of all ages". This clearly should be in the children's section. Here's the type of words you would find in this dictionary : bless, life, let, house, humans, gnat, free, fruit, fall, ear, dove, dumb, dust, door, and book. On the positive side the book has some neat pictures young reader would enjoy.
