Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Mother of 4 wonderful young adults and Grandmother of 6. I take care of my amazing elderly mother, I work full time as a patient advocate, I enjoy helping people feel good about themselves. I am at peace with myself and enjoy the simple thing in life, I'm an active church member, I like sports , family time , being around my close friends and just me time. I know everything happens for a reason, and every event is for my learning and personal growth.
What was your motivation behind this project? My motivation for this test is to know more about myself, How should I address difficult situations among my superiors, piers and coworkers and family , to be assertive and secure enough to state my opinions in a way where I don't over step boundaries, and not feel guilty I said something out of line afterwards.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I would like for people to see, to know that I really put others before myself, but at the same time, I am strong willed and I take life and its lessons very seriously. I don't disrespect and expect the same from others .
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I believe this project will help me open up my thoughts and feel free to make certain changes in my life, and take on new challenges.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Successful women, any one who has a real story of struggle and managed to survive, persevere, make a difference. People who are not afraid to share where they came from. From handicapped or physically challenged to writers actresses exc.. Who came a long way and are now great examples of speaking their minds and overcoming life challenges . My mother who raised 5 children almost on her own and whose voice was never heard do to low self esteem, she motivates me .
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I'm happy with who I am, and if I can be of any positive source for anyone that crosses my path that just added blessings .
