I have not used it as it is for the upcoming fall. I did peruse the content and am pleased that the introduction teaches that evolution nor creation are scientifically proven. The text covers a lot of background information for civilizations. I will update this review as we delve more into its contents.

My tenth grader is using it and it meets our needs for his history course. I prefer Christian Liberty Press books in general. I also prefer books that teach both creationism and evolution for the simple fact that my children need to know what else is taught "out there" even if we don't agree with it. It helps to provoke us to discuss why and what we believe.

It has a Christian viewpoint of history, but focuses mostly on Western development. There are no review questions or answers, so students must take their own notes as they read. Tests cover picky details.
Darwin Vanderlinden Ii5 Stars Out Of 5September 3, 2010Darwin Vanderlinden IiThis is a wonderful History resource and I plan to use it as a textbook next year. It is so valuable to be able to teach history from a creation/Christian perspective. This type of book is worth buying for anyones library.
