I have to agree with some of the reviews I read. This did not seem at all like a Christian movie until the end when he talked about God. I am going to throw this in the trash. Sure wish I would have read these reviews first.

I am a huge Rebecca St. James fan, but this movie was just plain bad. I am extremely grateful that I was able to see it for free.

Very disappointed with this film! I bought it at a Christian book store to have a family movie night. Good thing I previewed! Drunkenness, scantily clad women... seriously? ! I thought with Rebecca St. James in it that it would be clean. Very, very disappointed.

    Drunkenness? Check.

    Sexually suggestive scenes? Check.

Mentions of the word "Jesus"? Zero.

Scenes with a clear presentation of the Gospel? None.

For those who can form an opinion of a film based on this checklist, I highly recommend steering clear of this movie. If however what you are looking for in a film is a well-written story, entertaining dialog, and a satisfying payoff with a few surprises, you might want to give this one a spin. If you particularly enjoy stories of compassion, wonder and spiritual discovery then this film was probably made for you. It is a fun-spirited romantic comedy that along the way becomes one of the more unique films I've seen about God's creativity and passion for each of us. It's also great conversation-starter to watch with friends who tend to steer clear of films that meet the criteria of the above checklist.
