Sarah Torres2 Stars Out Of 5It does not capture the attention of childrenNovember 9, 2017Sarah TorresQuality: 5Value: 2Meets Expectations: 1I wish there's an age bracket specified for this book. I thought the colorful maps and the colorful illustrations would be enticing for kids (a 7 yo in this case) to be encouraged to go through this bible. But the pages are thin and the fonts are not engaging for kids to read. I had to return this because we already have Adventure Bible which has a much captivating presentation for kids which definitely peaks my 7 yr olds attention. We own a few books by Max Lucado and we love his work in kids books. Knowing his other works, I thought this would be a better version compared to the Adventure Bible given it has colorful illustrations, it is aimed for children, it is by Max Lucado, and the works but that was not the case. We were disappointed and returned this back.
