I was gripped as I read through this family's ordeal, their sorrow and their joy. Their trust in God and their faithfulness to Him and their family was an inspiration and will encourage caregivers going through one of the most heart-wrenching experiences a family can endure - the long-term care of a terminally ill loved one. I wept and rejoiced with this family as I read the book and felt as if I was one of them.

This book is well-written. I have recommended it to several friends who are battling Alzheimer's in their families. It reminds us that our strength comes from our relationship with God and our earthly families. It reminds us that life goes on through the crisis and afterward.

This is an amazing story. My mother has Alzheimers and the author really captured the emotions and challenges, while still conveying the joy and comfort that faith and family can bring to the situation. I highly recommend this book. I am sure I will read it a second time. I hope she writes another book!

This book was as expected, and yet was much more. It was about a family's journey through a parent's struggle with Alzheimer Disease, just as expected. It was about hope and healing, just as expected. But what really was more than expected was seeing a true picture of what a life walked in the Hope of Christ looks like in the midst of struggle. It shows how there can be joy, even in pain, even in difficulty, when we know the Healer.

It was also more in that it didn't end in death, but in life. Life goes on–it continues its march even in the midst of the struggle, and it continues its march even after the struggle is over. Life goes on. And I find myself very interested to see where this family goes, where their life's journey will take them, in the future.

This book can bring some peace and healing if you are or have walked this journey of loss of a loved one, especially after a long-term battle with disease, as my family has done. May it encourage you as it has me.
