During the Vietnam War Larkin Spivey commanded Bravo Company, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion in defense of the Hue/Phu Bai region and Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines at Khe Sanh and other areas along the DMZ. He later served as Executive Officer of 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, deployed on amphibious ships in support of U. S. advisors and Vietnamese Marine units in country.
As a retired officer continues to be active with veteran organizations including the Khe Sanh Veterans, Third Recon Association, Force Recon Association, Officers Christian Fellowship and Christian Military Fellowship.
I've long considered Larkin Spivey a mentor, warrior, leader, and friend.
His thoughtful devotional [book in the] Battlefields & Blessings® [series], Stories of Faith and Courage from the Vietnam War, links moments in time with timeless wisdom. This collection is "a gift a day"recounting Vietnam experiences that connect and acknowledge all who have had the privilege of serving this great Nation.

I thought it would be individual stories of many different soldiers of the VietNam War.
