Sticky Situations is a devotional book for families with children ages 8 to 12 that offers short readings for each day of the year. Each reading begins with a kid who is facing a moral dilemma and ends with multiple-choice solutions for the family to discuss. Often there is more than one acceptable course of action to take. Parents will find tips in the back of the book that interpret the various choices made by the children and offer follow-up questions for further discussion on each topic. Scripture references are provided to give biblical insight into each situation. Sticky Situations is a great discussion starter that will give parents the chance to share their own values with their children.

Ann5 Stars Out Of 5Great book!November 16, 2011AnnQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My daughter used this book with her son, my grandson, when he was around 7 or 8. I thought at the time he was too young. However, now that he is 13, I see that he has the ability to think through "sticky situations" and make the right decisions. I attribute much of that to this book but also to my daughter's God-given ability to discuss things with him on a daily basis. I have recommended this book to several young moms in our church.

It is well written and has timely examples. It is a great help in letting us know where our daughter is coming from and how she will deal with sticky situations! We all look forward to doing devoitions each night (including our daughter).

Q: Sticky Situations & Sticky Situations 2 - age group? I read reviews a couple of years ago and it seems that one of them was geared more toward older kids -like upper elementary, jr. high. Which one? Thanks
"Sticky Situations" is geared toward 8-12 year olds. "Sticky Situations 2" is geared toward 6-10 year olds. For upper elementary and junior high students you would use "Sticky Situations".
