Product Description

If you think atheists have reason, evidence, and science on their side, think again! Award-winning author Dr. Frank Turek will show you how atheists steal reason, evidence, science, and other arguments from God in trying to make their case for atheism. If that sounds contradictory, it's because it is! Atheists can't make their case without appealing to realities only theism can explain. In an engaging and memorable way, Stealing from God exposes these intellectual crimes atheists are committing and then provides four powerful reasons for why Christianity is true.

Frank Turek has given a wonderful resource for Christians. I think this book is a marvelous tool for young Christians to help them stay above all the brain washing that takes place in middle/high school and university years. It provides them with much needed answers and refutations that they can put to good use defending a Christian world view.

Turek thoroughly breaks down atheistic arguments against God in an easy to grasp way - absolutely critical for our youth today and for Christians in general.

Society is so saturated in lies and utter nonsense and it is great to hear them laid bare.

I can not recommend this book highly enough!

This is a book that every college student should have. Wait, let me rephrase that. This is a book that everybody should have. Frank Turek is incredibly informed and detailed when talking about the different arguments for atheism vs. theism. In this book, he actually shows you how it takes more faith to believe that there is no God, than to believe the God of the Bible.

Throughout the book, you will find many different debates with high profile atheists. He, and others, go head to toe with Richard Hawkings, Stephen Hawkin, Christopher Hitchens, etc... Fascinating to see all these brilliant minds and the conclusions that they come to.

Please pick up a copy because it is what you need to strengthen your faith and be able to defend it. Incredibly informative and clear. Pick it up right here!!!

"but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect" 1 Peter 3:15

Thanks, Tyndale, for giving me a copy of this book. As always, this is my honest review. Here's to many more!!

Dr. Turek cites several prominent atheists including Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, and Lawrence Krauss. As Ravi Zacharias notes in the Forward, Frank has done a masterful job in allowing the voices of atheism to speak for themselves. The problem for atheism is that it needs a theistic framework to make its case. Turek explains, atheism cannot be shown to be true in principle. It has destroyed all the tools necessary to do the job (41).

Using the acrostic CRIMES, the author identifies six areas in which atheists rely on theism to make their case: Causality, Reason, Information & Intentionality, Morality, Evil and Science.

Theists are often accused of having blind faith. However, materialism is unable to account for reason and the logical principles it uses to make its case. After all, The category of immaterial reality is not available to the atheist, but thats what the laws of logic and our ability to reason require (52).

I highly recommend Dr. Tureks book for Christians interested in learning more about the arguments currently presented by leading atheists and how to counter them. He even explains how to fit a two-ton pink elephant in your mind (see pp.42-43).
