Andy Stanley has a way of simplifying some of the most complicated subjects so that everyone gets it. Yet he never talks "down" to the audience. His sense of humor keeps people interested even through some of the weightiest of subjects. Each week you are left hungering for more. Eager to get together with your study group and share/discuss all that you have learned through the CD and workbook. I highly recommend this for anyone who is trying to figure out how they fit in the grand scheme of what's called "Life". Many "Wow, I never looked at it like that before!" moments for all in the group.

This small group study is a fantastic beginning for those new to the Christian faith , but also serves well to redirect or refocus those who have been in the faith for some time. This study does a good job in helping people examine what it is they believe and how it is they got there. I highly recommend "Starting Point" to anyone that is looking to begin a small group, or even as a curriculum to use for "Newbies". We are now doing a second round of this study because we have added many new faces to our men's group, and Andy Stanley does a great job inviting you in without overwhelming you.
