But they are also head over heels for each other in real life. They try to keep it a secret, but Kat's grandmother, who just about steals the show, and the book, makes it hard to keep any secrets. She was a Hollywood starlet, she loves wearing elaborate evening gowns from Golden Age movies, and she is suffering the early stages of dementia. Watching Kat, and Scott care for her is lovely, and watching them grow together in love and life makes for great reading. It's glamorous, hilarious, and romantic, all in one story. Well worth reading.

hapekmprchicagoAge: 45-54Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5okay read, no spiritual connectionAugust 6, 2013hapekmprchicagoAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 2Meets Expectations: 2Cute story...........too casual to be called Christian, there was nothing to bring spiritual joy or hope. But at least there wasn't shocking terms or language that push to the edge of questioning "why is this book called Christian". There was a word or two that could possibly be considered inappropriate for Christian literature.
