I enjoyed the brief daily devotionals shared by various contributors to the Our Daily Bread devotional booklets. As the sub-title indicates, these are written by men for men. Each one gives the reader something to think about as the day begins. Typically, after a verse of Scripture, they start with the highlights of an interesting story, either from the life of the writer or maybe a news story. Then the writer will share a brief thought that ties it all together in a meaningful to help the reader think about some aspect of his life. I recommend it.

i bought this book for my adult son who has had a very trying year. He seemed very pleased with it on Christmas Eve.

Bought these devtionals for all the men in our family as a Christmas gift in hopes that they will make time in their lives to read this as a group and a way to inspire each other with their walk in Christ.

I enjoy this devotional book. I also read the chapter in the Bible that is referenced. Just me, but it is so nice when it is kept easy and stays on track using one Bible chapter. it is not impressive that one can reference 5 different books. Onviously anyone can find many references to just about anything, Work harder and keep it easy! I do appreciate the authors that are able to keep focus, not trying to show off spamming many verses. That is not impressive.
