GrandaddyAAge: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Good StarterApril 14, 2020GrandaddyAAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Stand Strong: 365 Devotions for Men by Men - eBook.I enjoyed the brief daily devotionals shared by various contributors to the Our Daily Bread devotional booklets. As the sub-title indicates, these are written by men for men. Each one gives the reader something to think about as the day begins. Typically, after a verse of Scripture, they start with the highlights of an interesting story, either from the life of the writer or maybe a news story. Then the writer will share a brief thought that ties it all together in a meaningful to help the reader think about some aspect of his life. I recommend it.

Saint Michael1 Stars Out Of 5Stand Strong 365 day devotional for menMay 2, 2022Saint MichaelMeets Expectations: 1I just received this book! I was reading the devotion for May 2nd and the author came right out and said one of my favorite movie is Bourne Identity. The whole purpose of a daily devotion is to take your eyes and heart from the world and put it on God. As Christians we aught not be watching movies like this. Quite frankly, we probably shouldn't be watching TV now a days! Satan goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. May Christians, or so called Christians are not even on Satan's radar because they have already been rendered in-effective. They go to church once a week, sing new age rock music thinking they are worshiping the Lord, then they go home and live like they see fit.
Men, how can we be warriors for the faith when we are not even living a biblical world view? God calls us to be separate from the people of this world. We are pilgrims, sojourners! Satan is wise and he is great at deceiving man. I emplore you all to consider how you do your devotions to the Lord. Dont forget, Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not!
2 Corinthians 6:17 Context
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
