its nice books and very small print need to very large print

The price for this is remarkably low, but some reviewers complained about the type size and the quality of the print. My set has no problems so far with the quality issue (and I have read well over 100 pages in two of the volumes), and although I am 73, the print size is very readable. Great binding and the hardcover is truly beautiful. Spurgeon's brief prefaces are worth the price alone, and all the sermons are memorable. While many other excellent preachers are inspiring, Spurgeon's stay with you in their particular emphasis on repetition of the main verse. Repetition with an always compelling variety of examples and exhortations. I have many inspiring books on the Christian faith, from the Puritans to the present, but this one stands alone. Many thanks for this exceptional price. I have gifted one set and will likely continue to gift others.

Spurgeon wrote some truly excellent sermons that touch us where we live. Non-apologetic when speaking the truth, he was a fearless minister with a real gift from God to talk to people where they are. He enjoyed preaching anywhere and to anyone at any time. I have not simply enjoyed them, but look to them to help me grow and become more Christ like. I would recommend them and the price is very good.

I bought this product from another website and paid much more than offered here (it's still worth it though). Spurgeon doesn't pull any punches when addressing issues that Christians work through, but he does it with love and tact! If you're looking for a specific topic to read about there are two indexes at the end of book 5 (volume 10). One index is a list of scriptures from Genesis to Revelation and the other is a listing according to subjects from absolution to zeal. Both indexes tell which sermons and page numbers address each scripture or topic. A wonderful tool for ALL Christians!
