Spiritual Warfare and the Armor of God is a clarion call to every Christ follower. It is time for the church to wake up and strap on the full armor of God because the enemy’s weapons are trained against us and the warfare is great. Luanne Botta has written a wise and practical book that teaches us to not only be prepared for the battle against us, but to go into it fully prepared and stronger than our enemy.
Luanne Botta was an ordained instructor at the Greater Works Bible College for over seven years, training hundreds of students. This book is a must read for all Christians. We need this teaching now more than ever!
We live in tumultuous times; everyone can sense it. No matter the time or circumstances, God is in complete control and has made preparation for each moment within His created order. This preparation brings biblical revelation, as do His vessels who teach it and execute it. Luanne is one of these vessels who has been prepared for this very hour. This book is not theoretical nor does it simply contain knowledge about Spiritual Warfare and the Armor of God. This book contains wisdom and spiritual insight that has been forged in Luanne’s life by the Holy Spirit! She lives this every day. This topic and this book have been prepared for “such a moment as this.”
As a former student of Luanne Botta, I am grateful that she immersed us in the Word of God. She taught us the importance of understanding the elements of spiritual warfare and how to combat the enemy with the armor of God. Now, as a kindergarten teacher, I find myself educating and teaching the same things to even the youngest of students. Putting on the armor of God is not something I do for only me, but for every student who walks through my classroom. In the pages of this book, you will find the power, strength, and authority God has rightly given us and commanded us to use through the powerful name of Jesus. Luanne brings insightful truths, wisdom, and clarity into an area we all need to be empowered for our daily lives.
Once again, Luanne has written a powerful word for anyone who has chosen to walk with Jesus. She reminds us of the importance of leaning on the objective standard that is God’s truth, as well as the importance of utilizing the full armor of God. This book is a strong reminder that we have an extension of God’s power through His armor, but it’s up to us to learn how to use what’s already been given to us to fight the inevitable battles we face as believers living in a fallen world.
Although I haven’t known Luanne Botta for long, I’ve grown deeply close to her through praying together. She has encouraged me and prayed for me even when I felt too weak to do it for myself. I am eternally grateful for my friend who practices what is in this book by going to battle for those she loves.
“For such a time as this.” Never has there been a better time in history to take our stand as Christians and equip ourselves with the armor of God. This book is so timely and relevant to Christians everywhere as we must stand on the truth of God’s Word in order to battle the enemy’s plan to kill, steal, and destroy during this hour. I learned about the armor of God under Luanne Botta’s teaching over twenty years ago and still, to this day, recite it and have taught my children to do the same. It has meant everything to me knowing that I can send my kids out into this world feeling confident that they are fully equipped with the armor of God.
