Lynn5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent!January 11, 2015LynnI would recommend this to anyone. It is definitely Holy Spirit inspired and moved our group to not only understand the Holy Spirit better, but to thirst for His leading. Each session has an awesome testimony along with the pastor's great teaching. It showed our small, new church how to seek God's help and what that looks like. Very inspiring. You won't be disappointed. God is still in the business of doing great things!!
rlstitesWashington, DCAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Every new and mature christian should do this studyOctober 3, 2014rlstitesWashington, DCAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5DVD is well paced and each session has a personal story of an individual whose life has been transformed through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The church needs a renewed understanding and application of the Spirit of Truth who Christ sent to indwell those who believe and receive Him. This resource does just that. The scripture and questions in the workbook give plenty of opportunity for study and discussion. Our men's group took about 15 weeks to move through this study as we limit each study to no more than 60 minutes at breakfast and we often needed several follow up sessions to sufficiently complete the workbook questions and study.

Q: Could this study be adapted for a Weekend Ladies' Retreat, or is it more appropriate for a weekly Bible Study?
Yes, although this is set up as a weekly Bible study, it could be done in a weekend. The video segments are around 30 minutes and the participant's guide for each segment is 10 to 12 pages. Some of those pages are for note taking during the video. It could definitely be adapted for a weekend retreat.
Q: How long is each session? I assuming around 25 minutes based on the runtime. Is this a recording of a sermon series?
The run time for each session is right around 25 minutes, and it is not a recording of a sermon.
Q: Is this a good series for an eclectic small group Bible Study? We have 3 families in our small group. One has a teen & a tween who join the group. The rest are adults. Would this series speak to adults & teens/tweens?
This series is designed primarily for an Adult small group. It doesn't include helps for including younger age groups.
