The book often uses the name "God" and spiritual principles quite liberally. However, there is a strange silence regarding the name or the Person of Christ. As a committed Christian, this is significant and it does matter. In order to develop a Christian Worldview, we have to be connected to the the perspective of Christ. On the back of the book, the glowing comments flow from such noted popular people as Larry King and Deepak Chopra. That's good and bad. They do not speak for the church, nor are they professing Christians. Again, you may say, "Big deal!" Again, I will repeat, "It is a big deal!" That is not to say you cannot possibly 'glean' any truth out of it, but just don't expect a Christian book, with a Christian perspective, just because it throws around the name of "God." Christians today know the name of "Christ" is offensive to many. This book was written to hold a wider appeal by keeping His name out of print. Yet, that is a major weakness and one that should provoke pause before you buy it yourself.
