Tell us a little about yourself. I am the leader of an Outreach Ministry that serves 4,000 meals per year to the homeless and disenfranchised and leads over 100 souls to salvation per year.
What was your motivation behind this project? To encourage saints of God to enter into a spiritual working relationship with God, through the Holy Spirit, to advance His Kingdom.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I pray that this book will be an instrument God uses to teach and motivate his people to evangelize in our local communities.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Working on this product has been both intimidating and a joy to my soul. Intimidating because I wanted to provide the teachings and tell the experiences exactly the way God wanted and I was afraid the carnality of my mind would get in the way. My joy came during the many intimate moments with the Holy Spirit as he guided me through the process of writing this instrument.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My favorite book is Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. I read this book more than 20 years ago and didn't realize the impact it would have on my life until God called me to lead an outreach ministry.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: The lessons taught in this book came from "on the front line" witnessing experiences that anyone can apply to witness to a family member, co-worker, or a neighbor.
