Soul Care Resources are designed to be simple, but not simplistic, guides to maintaining or recovering the life and health of your soul, that essential personhood created by God as you. In these pages you will learn how to practice soul searching and discern God's voice. In the process, you'll come to know yourself better---both the sins that threaten the health of your soul, as well as your unique gifts and abilities and the new places God might be calling you to.
You use this book in small chunks of daily reading, covering the whole book in the course of four weeks. Also included are four guided group discussions for use with a small group or a spiritual friend.

Once again, the author keeps the material personal and honest. Beyond understanding why we need to pay attention to the condition of our soul, Caliguire teaches us how to move into self-examination. She discusses what keeps us from self-examination and how we can learn to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in the process. I personally found it most helpful to read through the entire book first, then to go back and apply the practices Caliguire recommends. The beauty of the book is being able to work through it at an individual pace. There are group discussion questions included at the end of each section for those who would like to go through it as a small group.
