Tell us a little about yourself. I grew up on the Central Coast of California and currently reside in California's Central Valley. My passion in life is to reach men and help them discover their innate calling to leadership.
What was your motivation behind this project? I was motivated to write a book that looked at the masculine soul through the lens of aviation. There are several books for men out there, but none that provide such a unique perspective on the life of men and our calling to lead.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My desire is that every man reading this book will find the desire to lead himself and others toward radical change. Once that desire is established it will then take commitment and a deep personal honesty to move ahead toward that change.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Writing Soul Pilots caused me to shift from the idea of getting a book published to the discipline of becoming a writer. This project helped me find the confidence to be vulnerable and transparent.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I am influenced by John Eldredge, Francis Chan, Mark Batterson, Douglas Wilson, Ann Lammott, CS Lewis, Kenny Luck and Paul Coughlin.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: If you've ever wanted to take risk, lead, and find the courage to make radical changes in your life, then Soul Pilots: A Flight Plan for Men is written for you.
