Becky5 Stars Out Of 5Optime!April 20, 2015BeckyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We used the first book for our kindergarten homeschool and it was great! My five year said this was one of his favorite subjects. I couldn't have done this without the cd. This second book includes numbers, months of the year, professions, etc. This is a great ,fun way to start Latin with little ones. They don't have to do all the writing exercises if they are too young....my toddler and pre-k kiddo loved this and learned all the songs!

Same format as Book 1, but much more difficult as it progresses through the different endings and forms, not just vocabulary translations, as Book 1 does. It is twice as thick as Book 1. I recommend Book 1 for Grades 1-6 who are new to Latin, with Book 2 to follow. With Book 2, you will want the additional Teachers Book Supplement with the answers in it. I really love this program. We listen to the Latin CD songs in the car. It works to get the words in your head. Without the songs, I have no idea how my children would remember all of this vocabulary. Highly Recommend.
