Song School Greek, Book and CD

Young children are irrepressibly enthusiastic- - -and finally there's a language program that understands how your little ones like to learn. Designed for Grades K-2, Song School Greek is a fun introduction to Koine Greek. Each lesson features songs, relevant vocabulary, illustrations, hand-writing practice, stories, games, and activities; a musical CD is also provided. Students learn basic vocabulary and how to count by tracing Greek letters, practicing with the singable songs on the CD, taking dictation in Greek, writing the correct Greek word next to a picture, and other fun exercises.

Lessons move quickly from introducing the alphabet to pronunciation, to writing short words, to reading small words within short stories---helping to provide motivation as students swiftly progress. As lessons move on, earlier lesson concepts are reinforced. Lesson themes include practical elements of the classroom, waking up, eating, and other activities, as well as biblically-based lessons on Jesus' birth, and some chapters on Aesop. 198 no n-reproducible pages, softcover with Audio CD included.
