Tell us a little about yourself. I am a retired Air Traffic Controller, and I have been involved in ministry since 1999. I am currently serving as a Disaster Relief Chaplain with the SBC, and I am involved in foreign mission work.
What was your motivation behind this project? I began this project after a trip to Uganda. My friend there asked me to help develop something to use for new Believers to see how the Bible is one Book with One Message about the One True God.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope that people will see how the Bible is connected from Genesis to Revelation. I want people to see God's plan for Global Redemption.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I spent seven years working on this study guide. During those seven years I learned so much about the Word of God, and I learned about how much I really don't know.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I have been influenced by C.S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, A. W. Tozer, John MacArthur, and David Platt.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: As followers of Christ we are called to make disciples. It would be great if you would use these guides, of course, but if you don't, that's fine. There are a lot of options available. Whatever you use to grow in your faith walk, and whatever you use to help others, please be true to the Word of God.
