I am a homeschool mom of 2 teen/preteen boys. I have tried many different kinds of History cirriculum. Some were too complicated to teach while others were just plan out boring. I use to do Ace Paces when I was in 4th-7th grade while in Christian school and decided to try it out for my boys. They really like it! Its easy to for me to grade (which helps with having a high schooler). My boys have learned to work independantly. The lesson are not complicated, and easier for even my 5th grader to comprehend and able to complete without my help. Their reading comprehension has greatly improved also. We don't strickly use Ace Paces for all subjects. We like a little variety. We use Ace Paces for Social Studies, English, and Wordbuilding (which really is awesome....but thats another review). I hope this review helps you make a decision on which curriculum to chose from. God Bless and Happy Homeschooling ;)

I really expected more from these workbooks. I am not satisfied with the information. I think it could contain so much more. The answers to the questions at the end of chapters aren't always in the booklets which makes it difficult to answer them. My kids don't like them and wants to find different ones for next time..
