Carolyn Wilcox was an unassuming little girl raised in a Christian home with a pastor for a father. In Snakes in the Pulpit, she shares her horrifying experience with a beloved clergy member and her journey through the pain in hopes that others will be inspired to find peace.
Deception, manipulation, robbery, and sexual immorality can (and do) plague the office of the clergy. Carolyns message will resonate with others who have been hurt by the church and have experienced this deception firsthand. She provides hope and healing for anyone who has been hurt by a pastor, church leader or church. This powerful story will encourage the reader to seek the God, who is the answer for healing and, through Him, finally find the power and freedom they are searching for. This booklet includes understandable information of how to overcome hurts received from other believers and to know that it is a deception from Satan, and it is not from God.

I happen to share to some extent the same testimony. The message brought out by the author is of total healing to them that are wounded. Many believers backslide from being christian once they encounter Preachers/ Pastors with snake characteristics. Many churches have split(wounded). As a Pastor am encouraged to preach Gods voice and not mine and allow people see God in me. To the wounded, there is still hope to reaching your destiny, Carolyn is a living testimony. I have ordered more copies to reach many friends. GOD BLESS Carolyn.

And so we are left with our wounds and wondering where do we go now? Who do we trust? Or can we trust again? There was a part in her book where she asked herself and us the readers: who are we looking at? HIM or him? That has been so hard at times to distinguish the difference, but has made me so aware that my faith rests in Jesus, not what is in a man. And to keep my focus on HIM! To be a Berean and go home and study the Word, to seek His truth. Thanks Carolyn for such a love for God's Word to encourage and motivate us to keep our eyes on the Author and Finisher of our faith. Great book! I am buying more to give to my friends.
