In The Smell of Sin, Don Everts seriously tackles these stark images, coming face to face with Jesus' clear, graphic theology of sin. It's a view of sin that might make you uncomfortable. But a collision with this hard truth may be just what you need.
Everts says, "This little book on sin is...a hopeful shout to all of us who are tired of being bullied by the sins in our life. It's a celebration of what Jesus' unfashionable truth can mean for us."

Karen Krebsky5 Stars Out Of 5October 31, 2007Karen KrebskyThis book helps us to see how serious sin is. And when we can see how truly terrible sin is, then, we can rejoice all the more because of the grace given to us. I highly recommend this short book.
Tim Price5 Stars Out Of 5June 4, 2003Tim PriceExcellent book! The only caveat I have is that at times it is a little too flippant. But the discussion of the images that Christ uses to describe sin, and the images the author gives are very descriptive and have had a tremendous impact on how I should view sin, and most importantly, God's grace.
