Celebrating the true story what The Salvation Army stands for. Kudos to an organization, a church, that practices what it preaches!

The story line was interesting and the main character learns to respond to life in a Christ-like manner. I would definitely recommend the movie to a friend.

Just finished watching Silver Bells. Great movie! Funny and thought-provoking, with a wonderful message of selflessness; it provides a behind the scenes look at how the Salvation Army provides assistance and hope to those in need. This movie brought back memories of how my dad used to enjoy ringing the bells for the SA in his senior years. He was not a religious person, but he knew the Salvation Army to be the real deal.

My husband and I loved this movie. We watched it three times, bought a copy for ourselves, and five copies for Christmas gifts. Finally, in story form, someone has the courage to remind us what we are celebrating, and what the Salvation Army stands for. Bruce Boxleitner (sp) is as handsome as ever.
