Mr1 Stars Out Of 5ComplainingFebruary 12, 2021MrThe book is centered on complaining. Misses the fact that as the Bible states we live in a sinful world and that we are aliens here. So, we can not make the world completely a Christian world, but we need to focus on striving to reach all nations/people with the truth of God/the Gospel and let God draw his people to the kingdom. All sin is wrong, picking out a few sore spots and not identifying all sinful issues does not relay a full message. As a believer in Jesus Christ we should be focused on living a life reflecting Jesus's teachings, being obedient to His word and most of all reflect the Love of God. It has nothing to do with worldly politics but is a spiritual battle. just my opinion.

MikeMontanaAge: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5We Will Not Be SilencedDecember 31, 2020MikeMontanaAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Of all the books that I have recently read, this has got to be the most troubling and disturbing book to read. I truly believe the title should be " We Have Been Silenced, Why?" Allow me to start with a broadside comment - If you attend the 1st Church of Comfy People, do not read this book. If you shake your head and say to your friends, " I don't understand why we are where we are now in the US", or What else can happen? If you would like to become informed to any of those questions or current events happening specifically in the US, YOU NEED TO INVEST IN THIS BOOK IMMEDIATELY. In my opinion, the most chilling quote in the entire book is found on page 223, attributed to Sam Solomon, responding to a question from Erwin -" what is my responsibility as the pastor of my church" relating to radical Islam. Mr. Solomon's response "Your responsibility is to teach your people to be ready to die as martyrs for the faith". Not exactly a closing warm fuzzy eh? If we fail to inform our selves and fail to hear, see, or even acknowledge to existence of the battle we are facing, it is very sad. I believe pastors are shying away from leading and teaching a Biblical Worldview to their congregations, on the current point of cultural chaos, due to many of the reasons outlined by Erwin in this book. May I suggest as a warm up, to read, " The Church In Babylon" by Erwin also.

MrsLeibyAge: 35-44Gender: Female1 Stars Out Of 5A little leaven leavens the whole lump.March 2, 2021MrsLeibyAge: 35-44Gender: FemaleThe authors stance that white people have never faced racism, removal of historical landmarks and flags as a good thing, and systemic racism saturates our society, erodes the American foundation, spins historical truths and negates any truth he desired to share.
How much leaven are you willing to accept for a morsel of truth?
I do not recommend this book. There are plenty of other authors that get it all correct, it is not worth picking your way through this book. -
dj5 Stars Out Of 5excellentJanuary 1, 2021djQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book should be read by every Christian in America just as Pastor Jeremiah proclaims on the cover. Pastor Lutzer does a masterful job of covering every topic in our culture today and how we should be responding to these changes biblically. Please read this book and order extras to give to relatives and friends.

Tracy2 Stars Out Of 5DisappointedJanuary 18, 2021TracyQuality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 1This review was written for We Will Not Be Silenced: Responding Courageously to Our Culture's Assault on Christianity - eBook.I have no problem with differences of opinion but calling people and their views terms like ludicrous is so unChristianlike it does nothing but drive people away from Christ and from our brothers and sisters If you were inviting your neighbor to church for the first time is this really the message thats going to draw them into wanting to learn more about Christs love Demeaning and disparaging people That noise you hear is the footsteps of more and more people leaving the church every year
