SpedlyAge: 45-54Gender: male3 Stars Out Of 5Production quality distracts from the contentOctober 5, 2013SpedlyAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 3Watching this 1960's or 70's production takes patience and a bit of mental effort to stay focused, but the information presented is even more relavent today than when it was produced and is worth the effort. I am enjoying watching it, but I read the book several years ago and would recommend the book over the DVDs. We use DVDs for our home Bible study group, but this would not hold their attention so, unfortunately, I will not be sharing it with them.

Scott PlavnickMississauga, ONAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Schaeffer has an awesome grasp of history and it's significance. As a Pastor in the Toronto area, I've used this series for years with my church, university students and youth. Schaeffer corrects the Historical Revisionism taught in schools and universities with clear facts. This is very needed!
Clearly done a few years ago, it is uncanny in it's relevance for today. While not an action movie, it is hard-hitting in it's significance.
Episodes are about 23 min. each, leaving enought time for discussion in a 1 hour session. Excellent!

Schaeffer was ahead of his time. Many times an author follows fad topics that soon become dated. Not so for this series.
