Patricia Farris is Senior Minister at Santa Monica First UMC in Santa Monica, California. Her congregation was one of 300 identified as Excellent Protestant Congregations (Westminster). She has written for Circuit Rider, Quarterly Review, and has contributed "Living by the Word" columns to Christian Century.  She lives in Santa Monica, California.
