Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a wife and mother with a desire to reach others through speaking and my writing. I'm very transparent. I have been affected by abortion and infertility. Greater, I love The Lord with all my heart and strive to serve Him daily. My spiritual gifts are that of an encourager, counselor, teacher, communication.
What was your motivation behind this project? My motivation in writing the book comes from my own testimony. I want women like me to have access to a resource that could give them courage and hope! A resource they could read in the privacy of their home as abortion is not an easy subject to talk about. Lastly, I want the book to be used as a resource in counseling settings, pregnancy help centers and within our churches to minister and offer help to post abortion women.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Insight into healing! For those not post abortion, an understanding of how devastating this choice can be. For the post abortion: Encouragement, Truth, Comfort. For those considering abortion: Strength to choose life.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? In an amazing way. God took me to a deeper place of Healing week after week I fulfilled His purpose, His call on my life to write Shattered into Beautiful: Delivering the Brokenhearted from Abortion.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My greatest influence, teacher, source of inspiration is Jesus Christ. I look to Him for everything. I read from many great authors but I particularly enjoy quotes from J. Hudson Taylor and daily devotions from Oswald Chambers.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: There is no pain you will ever go through in this life that God won't use for good!
