Christian_Rock_Expert!5 Stars Out Of 5August 26, 2007Christian_Rock_Expert!Good Solid Christian Rock from Seventh Day Slumber...in my opinion its their best work yet! DOUG VAN PELT- CCMMagazine.com says "If you took 11 power ballads from the band Pillar, this is what it might sound like." He made himself sound a little smarter when he said "might!" These guys got their own sound and I think a lot more appealing to listen to! You can't compare Pillar's vocal at all to Seventh Day Slumber's; Pillar just doesn't have that talent(Unless you really enjoy screamo music, you won't like Pillar any more than Slumber)However, I totally agree Doug on his statement on the second tract "Last Regret":"It works well enough that it may not be a surprise if we hear more from this direction in the future. The upbeat song carries quite the joyous, celebratory message: I never dreamed that I could feel this way I finally found a place where I belong/Only one regretall those years Ive lost for nothing at all. " And I personally would love to see this band go in this direction! My favorite track of the Cd! When these guys scream they kick ass on groups like Pillar!
