As much as I love reading Jerry Eichers books, I am not going to tell you its easy my daughter dreads seeing me sit down with a new book by Jerry, for the simple reason that she has to run for the tissue box, while watching the tears stream down my face!
Jerry Eicher writes real life stories better than anyone else I have ever read now please dont misunderstand me, there is plenty of joy and good times, but the pain and heartbreak is also there the same feelings that people face in our own lives.
I am always surprised by some of the twists and turns, yet each one rings true. Debbie leaves her home, moves in with the Bishops family and is on a path to join the church, only to discover that the man she loves has walked away from the church, and his family, and her to pursue a life in the city. Yep, thats the way things can happen for any of us. Life doesnt always go the direction we head towards.
I dont want to give away anything important to the story, so let me stop here and encourage you to read it on your own. Its a wonderful story and Im sure youll enjoy it as much as I do.
I received this book from Jerry Eicher. The thoughts above are my own. The fact that I am a huge fan has no bearing on them at all.

Seeing Your Face Again is another Amish fiction treat you'll love. Book 2 in The Beiler Sisters series.
About the Author:
Jerry Eicher taught for two terms in Amish and Mennonite schools in Ohio and Illinois. He writes of his experience growing up Amish in his memoir My Amish Childhood. Jerry has been involved in church renewal, preaching, and teaching Bible studies. He lives with his wife, Tina, and their four children in Virginia.
Seeing Your Face Again, the second book in The Beiler Sisters series. It is a book I couldn't wait to review. In this addition we find Debbie Watson a recent convert to the Amish faith, is at a proverbial crossroads when the young man that she felt was to be her future love, Alvin leaves their community. In turn, she is left with Paul and while he is more than willing to step up to the plate--she isn't so sure. Debbie grew up as an Englisher, but as a neighbor of an Amish family--she always felt that she belonged there as well. So she is allowed to join their community.
In Seeing Your Face Again, there are several romances that we get a sneak peek into, with Debbie's love triangle being at the center of it all. The author is really great at twisting and turning all of them with a final conclusion being drawn in the end. I love how everything is able to play out and how they all come together. Debbie converts only to have the man that she is in love with to walk away from the faith, now what??? It is an amazing love story built on promise, hope, and a lot of faith.
**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Harvest House.

Eicher. Truth be told, the characters became so real in "Seeing Your Face Again" that I caught myself thinking, "maybe I should pray for them", especially for Alvin Knepp when he left the Amish Community, but also Ida Beiler and Debbie Watson in their heartaches, andââ¬ânot to be forgottenââ¬âLois Beiler in her foolish endeavors. My oh my, more than once I had to pause while reading to wipe away tears. Book Three won't be out until September! This will be a long summer!
