SherrySouthfield, MIAge: 55-65Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5June 24, 2010SherrySouthfield, MIAge: 55-65Gender: femaleDark, gruesome, hideous! I would give it 0 stars if I could. I can't believe this is a "Christian" book. The first NINE chapters describe in detail the murder, the condition of the body when found (decapitated, animals have eaten it, maggots, etc.) and then graphic details of the autopsy. Finally in Chapter 10 they start looking for the killer. I have read secular murder mysteries that don't go into this gruesome detail. How can a Christian even think along those terms to write a book like this?
Angela4 Stars Out Of 5November 3, 2005AngelaMystery I'll give this book an A. But on the personal life of Antonio "Mac" Macallister I give him an "F". He needs to let Linda loose and let her get on with her life because it's obivious in the book he does not love her or respect her. Can't stand men like him. I'm hoping that the next book will make him deal with his issues regarding love, life and faith.
Donna5 Stars Out Of 5March 1, 2005DonnaI thought this was a great book - lots of turns in the plot - kept me guessing until the end. It is great to be able to read good fiction with a Christian message.
Roger4 Stars Out Of 5April 10, 2004RogerGreat mystery with Christian message. Okay for teenager and older due to graphic details of murder investigation although very interesting to follow detective work. Refreshing after reading couple of duds, glad my friend passed along to me.
