Series: Noble Island Mystery
Leaving Noble Island amid scandal and accusation, Raven vows never to return, but when her sister's fiance goes missing, Raven has no choice. Shunned by the island, if she is to unravel the mystery of Niklos's disappearance, she must rely on the only man she's ever loved, Siyah Cavaler. Siyah was devastated when Raven left Noble Island, but as the clan's heir apparent, he has a responsibility to keep the families from falling into ruin and crime. To preserve the island's future, he agrees to a bride from a rival family, but Raven's return stirs his heart and jeopardizes his position in the council. Giving in to his love for Raven would mean turning his back on all he's ever known. When Raven's investigation uncovers a grisly discovery, a darkness is unleashed that threatens them both. Bizarre accidents, unexplained deaths, and strange apparitions shroud the island. Raven and Siyah struggle to save the families and their love as they race to stop another death and unveil the Secrets at Crescent Point.

Erin5 Stars Out Of 5Spooky, Suspenseful, SatisfyingSeptember 5, 2014ErinSecrets at Crescent Point has that grainy, dark feel of an old horror movie in parts coupled with a true sense of hope and growth, a second chance for love. The immersion into Noble Island's Gypsy culture feels authentic, like a peek inside a secret society. The dynamic between Raven and her family, the understanding that a Mother's love surmounts all obstacles, is heartwarming. The dynamic between Raven and Siyah is intense. I both loved and hated them together because there was so much scaring from their past. The danger, which I won't go into, leaves you breathless and a little afraid to turn off the lights. Both Raven and Siyah's growth through their faith is emotionally satisfying and feels very real and not preachy. In fact, the whole story has an honesty to it that was touching, nothing felt contrived or forced. The ending had me gripping the book, white knuckled. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet romance and suspense.
Anne Garboczi Evans5 Stars Out Of 5Page TurnerAugust 29, 2014Anne Garboczi EvansQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5In this captivating first person novel, Raven, a Romany gypsy, comes back to her home on the Noble Island fairgrounds. Five years ago, she left her first love Siyah and burned bridges with all of her family and friends to leave Noble Island. Now Ravens sister is in grave trouble and Ravens back to find out why. But the Romany and even her own father have turned against her for abandoning the clan. And she has to face Siyah, who is bolder, stronger, and just as capable of making her lose her heart as she remembered.
The secrets on Noble Island grow darker as murder piles on murder and even Ravens life is endangered. Siyah may be the only one that can save her, but does he even want to after this many years?
A real page turner, I read all of this novel in one sitting. I loved the intrigue and how every time you thought you had things figured out the plot deepened. Raven is a very relatable heroine and Siyahs tall, dark, and handsome enough to make any girls heart beat.
